New Book Release!

Ghosts of the Big Sandy River is a story

that takes place in Louisa, Kentucky, and Fort Gay, West Virginia. Both are real towns that I love to visit. In January of 2018, the tale came to me. I turned to my second eldest son, Scot, for input and research since he lived in Louisa for a few years. Plus, his family from his mother’s side living in both towns provided extra details. Scot was a substantial contributor to my information.

On April 25, 2018, a mere three months into the manuscript, Scot died of a heart attack at the age of forty-five. He is buried just outside of Fort Gay on Cyrus Mountain. It took me over a year to get back to working on our project. But I knew I had to finish it. Scot would have expected me to.

The story follows brothers Clayton and Scot and their cousin Jaylynn on ghosts hunting ventures with a twist of local history mixed in. The kids soon discover that not all

demons are spectral when it comes to haunting humans. Sometimes death has nothing to do with dying.  I hope you enjoy the adventures – both real and imagined. Listed are several best seller books that I have co-authored or contributed with short stories. Ghosts of the Big Sandy River will be my debut book. I have multiple manuscripts in the works.
